Extensive Hospitality Experience
Jim Papas has been in the hospitality industry since 1990, with an Accounting Certificate from Preston College under his belt. In 2017, Jim took an opportunity to explore the business brokerage industry by joining LINK, ending his over 27-year career of owning and managing numerous successful cafes and restaurants.
His exit from the industry is not all bad news for him. Over the past five years, he has utilised his expertise in sales and marketing, product development, finance and operations management in helping his clients achieve their business goals.
As evidenced by his extensive personal network of vendors and purchasers, Jim's communication skills are nothing short of outstanding. As a result of his strong managerial capabilities, he has also become a vital member of LINK Melbourne's sales team.

After spending his entire life as a business owner and broker in hospitality, Jim has acquired an unrivalled wealth of experience in the industry. His straightforward nature has helped him build solid relationships with his colleagues and provide satisfactory client outcomes.
Jim's best deals have been made possible largely due to his exceptional communication skills. One of the first businesses he sold was a car wash, which was purchased for its full asking price only six weeks after negotiations began. This drive to excellence has never left Jim – as only recently he sold a mechanical workshop again for the full asking price!
Jim has sold many businesses successfully in his career with LINK, formerly Klemms, and while the process isn't always easy, he never gives up until he achieves a favourable deal for everyone involved.

Apart from Jim's hectic job as a business broker, he doesn't let his career prevent him from spending time with his loved ones when he has the chance.
